Bear Mountain Trail
Bear Mountain Trail has some of the best views in Sedona! The trail itself is pretty steep and about 6 miles. Bring lots of water and be sure to follow the white dots along the trail. Start early to avoid the heat and see some beautiful morning views.
Casner Mountain Trail
Casner Mountain Trail is surprisingly green with beautiful scenery along the way! It is a bit of a climb up with a 3,000 ft elevation gain and about 13 miles. It is challenging but worth it. To get to the trailhead, there is some off-roading with rocky/unstable terrain. Be sure you have an appropriate vehicle. Have fun!
Doe Mountain Trail
Doe Mountain Trail is a moderate, 2-mile hike that is great for the family! The views are incredible and not much work is needed for the reward. There are great picture spots at the top along with a little bit of uphill, but nothing too challenging. You probably won’t have service here, so be sure to have directions saved on how to get back to town.
Wilson Mountain Trail
Wilson Mountain is my favorite hike in Sedona! The views are unmatched and there is so much to see throughout the 10 miles. At the top, you pass through a grove of pine trees that leads to a cliffside where you can see all of Sedona! It is SO pretty. While this hike is quite challenging with over a 3,000 ft elevation gain, the top is totally worth it!
